Non-Surgical Treatment for Forehead Augmentation

The forehead is an important facial feature that is often neglected. From an aesthetic perspective, a high and rounded forehead helps to give a good balance to the rest of your overall facial features. Forehead augmentation used to be done by plastic surgeons. However in recent years, the development of medical aesthetics has made it possible to do forehead augmentation non-surgically. Forehead augmentation with dermal fillers is not as invasive or as dramatic as surgery, and also not permanent. It is a better and safer choice for people who are unsure about undergoing surgery.

In the case presented here, Dr Massoudi has used 2mls of Texoane RHA3 to augment the forehead. The results are subtle, yet noticeable and can last between 8 to 12 months. At BrightSmile Clinic we understand your facial aesthetic concerns and offer free consultation sessions to discuss these with you.

A new study highlights the importance of oral hygiene for people with type 2 diabetes, after finding that those with the condition may have better blood glucose levels if they look after their teeth. It is estimated that around 30.3 million people in the United States are living with diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is the most common form, and it accounts for 90–95 percent of all cases. The new study recently published in The Journal of Clinical Periodontology suggests that for people who already have type 2 diabetes, good dental hygiene could be key for managing blood glucose levels.  To read the full story on Medical News Today, please click here

Tooth loss in middle age is tied to a higher risk of cardiovascular disease, independent of traditional risk factors such as high blood pressure, poor diet, and diabetes. This was the conclusion of preliminary research led by Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans, LA, and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston, MA. This study is not the first to investigate the link between dental health and cardiovascular disease (CVD), but it is the first to focus on tooth loss during midlife and exclude that which occurs earlier. “Marionette Lines” are the lines that run from the corners of the mouth vertically downwards towards the chin. Dermal filler can be placed in the marionette lines to provide more support for the area to reduce the appearance of the lines. Treatment of the marionette area can lift the mouth corners and prevent downturning of the mouth which can sometimes give a glum appearance to the lower face.

Non-surgical transformation to lower-face areas & lips using various needle & microcannula techniques.  Brightsmile clinic offers a range of facial rejuvenation, anti wrinkle, and anti ageing treatments to help you achieve a more youthful appearance under the expert guidance of Dr Massoudi.
